The Southside Farmers Market started in October 2006. The great concept behind the Market was to create a place where customers can come and talk to the producers of the foods they buy and eat. In addition, the Markets also allows producers to sell directly to the consumer, cutting out time and cost. We recommend you drop in any Sunday and have a look around - the market is always growing so variety is only getting better.

Currently the Market has around 35 producers each week, with a great range of fresh fruit and veg as well as meats and breads.

The Market is also a great place to catch up with friends for a quiet coffee on a Sunday morning, there is plenty of seating available in the Shade, and oftem live music.
