Information for stallholders

The Southside Farmers Market is a local market that runs every Sunday morning at the Southside CIT Campus at Phillip. The market is a food market only - there are no arts and crafts.  Some of our stallholders have been at the market since we started in late 2006.

The market provides a community setting for customers to purchase fresh, regional (where possible) produce, and where regional producers can sell their produce directly to customers.  At our market, we give priority to producers. 

There is a range of stall spaces to suit every stall type – indoors, in the courtyard, and a range of outdoor stalls for trucks.

In order to maintain the integrity of our market, there are a few rules and guidelines that apply to each and every stall. The purpose of these rules is to ensure that our market continues to meet the needs for which it was originally established. 

We verify stallholders through the collection of information, and on-site inspections.
